Many people consider Lake Vyrnwy to be the most beautiful in Wales.
For family members not participating in the driving course, or people staying as Bed and Breakfast guests, Lakes Vyrnwy* and Bala, Snowdonia, and the red kite country of Mid- Wales are close by.
The historic border towns of Chester, Oswestry, Shrewsbury and Welshpool are within easy motoring distance, as are the coastal resorts of mid and north Wales. |
